There are foods that actually help to increase fertility.  Some couples do experience delays in childbearing due to genetic factors, or some medical factors. But nature has made it possible for many medical conditions to be solved naturally. You might have a perfect reproductive life but going into a fertility diet would help you get a testimony speedily.

What is a Fertility Diet?

It is a special diet specifically targeted to optimize the reproductive organ. It is not the normal regular diet needed for a family but it’s one of a kind that helps to boost your odds for conception. They are nutritious in nature.

Here is a List of Fertility Foods

These are food that you can add to your day-to-day diet, these food would help to boost and revive your reproductive organ. It’s needed for both male and female organs. Most of these fruits/ foods might not be found in your country, but certainly, you must have one that is listed here and that is also found around you.

1.Cabbage:

No doubt, cabbage is nice food for women who have been experiencing fertility issues. Cabbage contains Di-indole Methane that helps to prevent fibroids and endometriosis.

* Vegetables help in the production of quality sperms and improving ovulation, mitigating the chances of miscarriage or even genetic abnormalities.

5.Liver

The liver of a cow is one of the most nutrient-dense foods in the world. The liver is one food that is very rich in vitamin A. Apart from being loaded with Vitamin A, it contains iron which helps to prevent maternal amenia and prevent miscarriage.

  • The liver also contains Vitamin B12 which is needed and required for the enhancement of the formation of RBC and DNA.
  • The liver also contains omega-3 fatty acids, folate and choline.

You can add it to your meal either by making a salad or through other means you choose.

6.Tomatoes:

This is a rich source of lycopene which helps to inflate the sperm count and also boost the swimming speed.

  • Tomatoes are a powerful antioxidant that helps specifically for male fertility. It can be eaten raw or boil.

7.Yam

Yam is the common name for some plant species in the genus Dioscorea (family Dioscoreaceae) that form edible tubers. It contains phytoestrogens,  which stimulate the release of eggs from the ovaries and helps to treat luteal phase defects In women.

You can eat pomegranates by adding it to oatmeal, yogurt, quinoa bowls, and even salads.

11.Berries

* such as blueberries and raspberries which are rich in Vitamin C and folate. Berries help to boost male and female fertility.

Eggs are rich in folic acids, choline, omega-3 fatty acids, and Vitamin D.

Egg yolks contain richer nutrient; it contains calcium, zinc, Vitamin b6, Vitamin B12, and folate. Eggs generally have been found good for fertility issues for both male and female.

Eggs are best eaten when they are boiled.

15.Wild-Caught Salmon

is the common name for several species of ray-finned fish in the family Salmonidae.

Salmon is rich in omega-3s and fatty acids, which has been proven to be beneficial to fertility.

Selenium is required for healthy sperm.

While eating salmon, it is recommended to take the wild-caught one than the farm-raised because of mercury contamination, toxic food dyes and antibiotics.

17.Dairy Products:

This product helps couples who are eager and desperate to conceive faster. They are rich in vitamin  D, good fats, and calcium.

Cinnamon can be taken with oatmeal, tea, coffee, or on top of your yogurt.

Olive oil contains monounsaturated fats; This helps in reducing inflammation in the body and shoot up insulin sensitivity in a woman’s body!

23.Pumpkin Seeds
